Sanjib was a postdoctoral scholar and research scientist in the Hocky lab at NYU. His research interests are understanding the self-assembly behavior of colloidal particles and understanding rare event processes. Before moving to NYU, he was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of New Hampshire where he worked with Prof. Harish Vashisth on the self-assembly of lobed patchy particles. He obtained his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur under the supervision of Prof. Srabani Taraphder, where he studied rare events using an enhanced sampling method, and the structure and dynamics of water molecules in nano-confinement.
