I am a graduate student in Prof. Hocky’s group at NYU. I am from Peru but I have been residing in New York for the past 11 years. I am mostly interested in method development and computational study of micro and macroscopic behavior of molecular systems and materials. I started pursuing computational chemistry during my undergraduate studies at Iona College where I studied hydrogen gas storage in IR-MOFs and water permeation through lipid bilayers via analysis of MD simulations. My non-academic interests include literary fiction, andean music, and chordophone and woodwind instruments.
